Daily Icons

2. All Icons and Alternates

3. Experiment with Color
Project goals were to create a unique set of 20 icons that represent the typical events in my daily life. The narrative order of my typical day starts at the upper left corner and reads from left to right and then goes down the sheet (the same way in which we read).

I created all of the icons with an isometric grid, and I focused on developing a holistic system through considering black/white ratio and level of detail in each of the icons.

Each of the icons were first sketched by hand and then refined and finalized in Illustrator. After completing the set in black and white only, I then challenged myself to experiment with color and explore how that could be integrated within the designs.
