Biography:

Mary Taylor Carwile earned her Bachelor of Interior Design from Louisiana Tech University in 2014 and has worked professionally as a commercial interior designer for seven years in Houston, Texas. She recently earned her MFA in Graphic Design, with a focus on experiential design, at her alma mater.

Carwile’s background in interior design allows her to explore graphic design through a unique lens that is both holistic and experiential. Her graphic design work has been published in Communication Arts magazine, the leading trade journal for visual communications globally, and she has shown work at the WORK National Juried Student Exhibition in Jacksonville, Alabama. In 2023, Carwile was awarded the Anna Protho Art Graduate Scholarship, one of the most esteemed College of Liberal Arts scholarships at Louisiana Tech University. She has also worked with HKS, Inc., consistently ranked as one of the top global architecture firms, as an experiential brand intern.
